Cambridge

Hi Everyone... its been ages, I know! ... Summer is pretty much over though in saying that..Jono and I just had a lovely weekend up in Cambridge and it was warm & sunny, we even dined alfresco at night by the river cam, it was lovely!

I enjoyed cambridge, such beautiful buildings, King's college has an amazing cathedral. We drove down saturday morning as we had to get there in time to find a hotel & of course watch the AB's play. What a fantastic start to the world cup, go the AB's! So that was exciting. We then strolled around the city, Jono took me punting (photos below) I tried it out but couldn't even hold the pole so had to hand that task back to jono - ...its great to get out of london every now & then, such a different pace of life on the outskirts of london thats for sure....

So I went to the annual Toast Festival (A festival in london celebrating NZ food & wine) the day started great. already downed about four glasses so was feeling quite tipsy... then the heavens opened up & it just poured!! Like there was no tomorrow, here we all where huddled underneath the tables with our umbrella's sheilding from the torrential downpour it was unpleasant luckily I was quite drunk by that stage that I didn't really care. Though when it stopped it was all muddy so we decided to go back to a mates place, I brought a bottle of NZ wine & celebrated the day back there! Anyway here are some pics that capture a few of the moments....

Hi Everyone!!

Hello!

Just thought I would update as I have been a wee bit slack, thats because nothing has really topped the Croatia posting though !! The weather in London has taken a turn for the worse which isn't so fun, August is supposed to be amazing.. though I am not holding my breath.

A couple of weekends back the tour de france was here in london and we went out to see them in action at hyde park, though we were more just soaking up the atomosphere as there were waayy to many people there so we basically just spent the arvo drinking & eating in the park, it was nice.... oh this was the only day that the sun came out the rest of the time its been raining.
